Trinity Artist Series

The Trinity Artist Series is a recipient of the Big Easy, Tribute to the Classical Arts “Outstanding Contribution Awards 2008, the Mayor’s Arts Award 2001, & 2004 Best of the Beat Heartbeat Award and other awards. Albinas Prizgintas, Director of Music Ministries, started the Trinity Artist Series 29 years ago. All programs last one hour and take place every Sunday of the year at 5:00 p.m. Police security provided. Roda de Choro, plays traditional Brazilian music with a 5 piece ensemble featuring Rick Perles, violin; Scott Myers, seven-string guitar; Eduardo Tozzatto, keyboards; Geovane Santos, pandeiro and cavaquinho; and Martin Masakowski, pandeiro and bass.

 Jazz Vespers
Sunday, February, 18 at 8 pm sharp: Ellis Marsalis, preeminent jazz pianist, kicks off the 7th Annual Jazz Vespers.  
Jazz Vespers is a late night Compline service that takes place in the main church at 8 PM on Sunday nights during Lent. It is a short prayer service with several interludes of music performed by some of the best jazz musicians in New Orleans. A unique and exciting program, it has been embraced by the jazz loving community and it is looked forward to as an added Lenten devotion.

Patriotic Music Festival
The Patriotic Music Festival takes place in the church the Sunday before July 4.  This  program is in it's 17th year and is a popular and thrilling community event, featuring military bands, collaboration with the World War II Museum, and brilliant local attractions.  This past year the audience exceeded 1000 people.  The Patriotic Music Festival enjoys the support of various organizations and individuals, including Sons of the Revolution, Military Order of Foreign Wars, Society of Colonial Wars.  Once the program was launched, it was guided by the direction of Bryan Bell and Howard Soper.
