Pastoral  Care

At Trinity, pastoral care is a team ministry of clergy and laity working together.  Our clergy, in addition to their sacramental, preaching, teaching and administrative responsibilities, provide pre-marital counseling, support during relationship challenges, and are available at times of crisis. In partnership with the clergy, ministry teams of trained men and women serve in the various ministries of caring for our brothers and sisters in Christ.

YOU are an important part of this ministry.  Communication is integral to the success of our ability to care for one another.  Please call the church office and let us know if you or someone dear to you is in need of special prayers, a hospital visit, or any other need our ministries support. Please look over the ministry descriptions and volunteering to participate with one of our ministry teams.

Please keep Trinity and all of her ministries in your daily prayers.

  • Good Samaritan Ministry offers short term care ministry to people in our community who are ill, grieving a loss, lonely, or in despair and in need of connection with the church. Flowers can be arranged in small vases and taken out to folks who are ill or alone, and cards can be sent to those on our prayer list so they may know they are held in prayer. The aim of this ministry is to extend the Love of Christ to those in need.  Maria Elliott 670-2535 or

  • The Intercessory Prayer Group meets weekly to offer confidential prayers for our community.  This group explores a variety of prayer experiences and meets Wednesdays in the Moore Library at 2:00 p.m. Join us before you pick your child up in carpool. Ministry Leader, Daisy Fant 899-3277.

  • Eucharistic Visitors offer communion to members of the congregation who, by reason of illness or infirmity, were unable to be present in church.
