Trinity Educational Enrichment Program

The Trinity Educational Enrichment Program (TEEP) began in 1966 serving the communities immediately surrounding Trinity Church, including Central City and the Irish Channel. It now includes all of Orleans Parish. TEEP’s mission is to provide summer learning experiences for children in academics, life skills, performance and visual arts, while encouraging students to develop positive self-esteem. We accomplish this mission by offering a 6-week tuition free camp for financially disadvantaged students entering the 5th and 6th grades. New in 2017 is the addition of a pre-K program, serving an additional 15 children. 2017 marks our 51st year of TEEP!

A summer at TEEP inspires children to learn
– academically, socially and spiritually.

About US

TEEP provides academic and cultural enrichment through top-quality programs taught by highly trained and experienced staff. Students return to school after a summer in TEEP with a new love for, and interest in, learning.

TEEP emphasizes five important values: Respect, Restraint, Reciprocity, Redemption and Responsibility. These “five –R’s” are talked about daily and represent the foundation of all interaction between the staff and the campers. TEEP instills positive values, fosters positive self-esteem and helps to develop important life skills.

Campers are served breakfast and a hot lunch daily; they attend morning classes in Science, Math, Language Arts, Art and Music, while afternoon activities include guest speakers, field trips, swimming lessons and other organized recreation such as dance and drama.
