“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling-places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.” – John 14:1-3

The clergy, music department, and staff at Trinity are readily present to assist you in arranging a meaningful funeral for your loved one.

The funeral service, taken from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, finds all its meaning in the resurrection; because Jesus was raised from the dead, we too shall be raised. Therefore, the service is characterized by joy, in the certainty that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. This joy, however, does not make human grief unchristian. The very love we have for each other in Christ brings deep sorrow when we are parted by death. While we rejoice that one we love has entered into the nearer presence of our Lord, we are sorrowful with those who mourn.

The Memorial Garden

The Memorial Garden of Trinity Episcopal Church is located adjacent to the Church in the open space between the Church and School that is at the top of the circular driveway. It is designed and established in response to the wishes of many members of this parish family to have their mortal remains (after cremation) interred in an appropriate and dignified resting place within the Church.

Planning Ahead

If you are interested in making advance funeral, memorial and/or burial arrangements, Trinity Church has planning documents available in the church office. In addition, our clergy are always available to assist you with this process by appointment, with the understanding that any discussion would be confidential.
