Adult Formation

Christian Formation is a lifelong and multi-faceted process as well as an exciting adventure.  This year at Trinity we hope to broaden and deepen formation opportunities for all ages and life stages and invite and encourage you to participate in ways old and new.

Weekly Formation

9:15 am—Faith and Fiction in the Parish House.  In “Faith and Fiction” we read selected short stories and look for glimmers of the divine, illustrations of God’s grace, and insights about how to live our lives in accord with the teachings of Jesus.  As with the parables, in reading stories about others, we often gain better understandings about ourselves and how to live.   This class resumes in the fall.

6:30 am—Men’s Bible, Prayer and Breakfast meets weekly in the Parish House. Resumes in the fall.

1:30 pm—Intercessory Prayer Group has been meeting together and praying for our congregation for over twenty years.  Each week we pray for one another, share our joys and concerns, and pray for those who have requested our prayers.  Please join us in the Moore Library.  For those who have children in school, we plan to wrap up in time for car pool.

Daily E-Mail Meditations

Hundreds of members of Trinity Church receive a bit of scripture, a short reflection, and a prayer for the day six days a week, delivered right to their email inbox.  The reflections are usually prose, but sometimes include poetry, art, and even icons created by Trinity members and staff.  It’s a great way to continue doing Christian Formation from wherever you are!  To join the list or to volunteer to contribute, contact Maria Elliott at
