Trinity Artist Series

The Trinity Artist Series is a recipient of the Big Easy, Tribute to the Classical Arts “Outstanding Contribution Awards 2008, the Mayor’s Arts Award 2001, & 2004 Best of the Beat Heartbeat Award. Albinas Prizgintas, Director of Music Ministries, started the Trinity Artist Series 20 years ago. All programs last one hour and take place every Sunday of the year at 5:00 p.m. Police security provided. Taize
Every Monday in the Chapel during from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Program directed by Albinas.  Chanting simply songs with instrumental accompaniment, candlelight, beautiful Taize cross, readings from the evening service.  Instrumentalists are most welcome to join.

Organ and Labyrinth
Organ and Labyrinth, a unique one hour meditation with music, takes place every Tuesday  in the main sanctuary with Albinas Prizgintas, on the 5000 pipe Trinity tracker organ.  The program includes some of the greatest music written for organ and a variety of performed music, ranging from Classical Baroque to vintage rock tunes.  Visit: www.youtube.com  “Albinas Prizgintas Organ and Labyrinth” The event begins at 6:00 p.m. and lasts one hour.  Occasionally other music, vocal and instrumental, are included.  A salient musical feature is the parish pipe organ, a fine 57 rank tracker action instrument.  The music includes a variety of music, including standard repertoire, hymns, and popular music.  

The labyrinth walk takes place in the area of the altar floor, strengthening the Christian  focus of the meditation.  For further information please call the music office at 670-2520.     

Evensong
